Description
Overview
The Armadex TCO-60 is an ATEX certified hazardous area camera for use in Zone 2 and Zone 22 environments.
It combines a professional triple-camera system with a large pOLED touchscreen to deliver high-quality image capture for industrial inspections, maintenance and asset documentation.
As an ATEX camera, it is certified using the Ex nR (restricted breathing) and Ex tc (protection by enclosure) protection methods. The device sits in a protective enclosure with a milled frame and transparent front and back covers. Offering a certified hazardous area camera in a practical, handheld form.
Imaging and performance
At the heart of this handheld digital camera is a 50 MP main camera built around a Sony LYTIA™ 700C sensor, supported by 13 MP ultra-wide, 10 MP telephoto and 32 MP front cameras.
Together, they provide 3× optical zoom and, in addition, up to 30× hybrid zoom. As a result, operators can document assets in detail from a safe distance.
The main and telephoto cameras feature optical image stabilisation. Phase detection autofocus and HDR and macro support come as standard. And 4K UHD video recording keeps results clear and consistent across a wide range of inspection scenarios.
Offline workflow
Images are stored locally and transferred via a standard USB-C connection outside the hazardous area, providing a simple, reliable workflow without the need for cloud services, subscriptions or proprietary software.
