ATEX Inspection Kit Certified for Zone 2 & 22
This inspection kit provides a practical solution for professionals working in hazardous environments. It is certified for ATEX and IECEx Zone 2 and Zone 22, making it suitable for industries such as oil and gas, chemical processing, and offshore operations.
The kit simplifies inspections of elevated or hard-to-reach areas. It includes the Armadex OZC 3 camera, a 10m carbon fiber mast, and a Zone 2/22 ATEX-certified device. No WiFi or cellular connection is required, ensuring reliable performance in remote locations.
Armadex OZC 3 Digital Camera
The ARMADEX Ex-M OZC 3 camera combines durability with advanced functionality. It features 4K video, 12 MP photos, and a 4x optical zoom for detailed inspections at distance.
Specialized modes improve inspection quality, including Construction Mode for dusty environments and Macro Mode for close-ups from 1 cm.
Additional features include environmental logging, LED flash for low-light conditions, and image stabilization for smooth video capture.
10m (35ft) Carbon Fiber Mast
The inspection and survey mast provides a safe, fast, and stable solution for elevated inspections. It is ideal for roofs, solar panels, and industrial assets. The mast extends to 10m (33ft) and retracts to 1.61m for easy transport and setup. Made from max standard modulus 100% carbon fiber, it offers superior strength and durability.
Unlike thin-walled, narrow-diameter poles, this mast is wider and far more stable. It ensures reliable performance during inspections. Compared to drones, scaffolding, or lifts, it is a much more cost-effective option. Weighing only 3.2kg, it allows a single operator to perform inspections quickly and safely. Its strength, portability, and efficiency make it the perfect tool for high-reach surveys and maintenance tasks.
Compatible Devices
This setup is compatible with a wide range of ATEX Zone 2 / Zone 22 devices, giving you full flexibility to choose the device that fits your workflow. Compatible options include Android devices such as the Ecom Smart-Ex 02 DZ2, i.safe MOBILE IS655.2, and the Sonim XP10, as well as Windows and iOS devices. All devices connect seamlessly with the camera, enabling live view, remote control, and direct image transfer without the need for external infrastructure.
It can also be used in combination with the Armadex Ex UniCase, allowing standard tablets such as iPads or Windows devices to be safely used in hazardous areas. This makes it easy to upgrade or switch devices without replacing the entire setup, while maintaining full usability and certification compliance.
